Tutorial Balloons in the Sky
Hoy me gustaría hacer un alto para explicaros paso a paso como realicé la fotografía “Balloons in the Sky”.
Today I would like to take a break and explain you step by step how I realized the photography, “Balloons in the Sky”.
Lo primero que hice fue buscar la localización y esperar a que el sol se escondiera. Para este tipo de fotografía es imprescindible tener un trípode. Una vez “compuesto” el fondo de la imagen, saqué dos fotografías, una exponiendo correctamente el cielo y otra el suelo.
The first thing I did was searching for a location and wait for the sun to set. For this kind of photography you must have a tripod. So, once I had “composed” the background of the image, I took 2 photographs, one exposing the sky and another one exposing the floor.
Después, saqué decenas de fotos de Guille saltando, hasta que tuve unas cuantas buenas de las que poder elegir.
Por último, puse la cámara con enfoque manual, y fui sacando fotos de los globos, más cerca y más lejos.
Later, I took dozens of pictures of Guille jumping, until I got a few good pictures from which I could choose. Finally, I changed my camera to manual and took pictures of the balloons, closer and further.
Ya en casa me puse con el trabajo en photoshop. Después de elegir las fotos que iba a utilizar fui trabajando las capas una por una.
Primero, creé el fondo uniendo las 2 fotografías con diferente exposición.
When i got home, I began with the work in photoshop. After choosing the pictures that I was going to use, I went on working each layer.
First, I created the background joining the pictures with different exposition.
Segundo, cogí una foto de Guille saltando que me gustara, y la recorté con sumo cuidado. (Sin tableta gráfica es bastante difícil). Después la pegué sobre el fondo y la torcí un poquito para que diera sensación de “volar”.
Second, I chose one of the “jumps” of Guille, I cut it carefully (Without a graphic tablet it’s pretty difficult), then I pasted it on the background and twisted it a little bit, trying to get the flying sensation.
Tercero, con la herramienta LINEA, creé las cuerdas de los globos. Simplemente dibujé varias líneas desde la mano hasta los globos, y después con la herramienta distorsionar, les dí cierta curbatura.
Third, I cut and pasted one over another the images of the balloons which would take part in the Big Balloon.
Cuarto, recorté y pegué unas sobre otras imágenes de los globos que formarían parte de los globos voladores.
Fourth, with the line tool, I created the strings of the balloons. I just draw them from the hands to the balloons, and later, with the distorsion option, I gave them some curvature.
Quinto, pegar el resto de los globos cubriendo el resto de la escena, teniendo en cuenta que los que estén mas lejos deberán ser más pequeños, y desenfocados, y los más cercanos, más grandes y muy desenfocados. Para ello solo tenemos que recortarlos, pegarlos y utilizar la herramienta de desenfoque gausiano.
Fifth, I pasted the rest of the balloons, trying to cover the rest of the scene, taking into account that the further ballons would be smaller and blurred, and the closer ones, bigger and more blurred. To get this effect, we just have to cut them, paste them and use the Gaussian Blur.
Por último, dar saturación a la escena.
To finish, i gave saturation to the scene.
