Tutorial Photoshop
Mucha gente me pregunta cada día cómo creo los fotomontajes, así que me he puesto manos a la obra y he creado un pequeño tutorial para mostraros mi flujo de trabajo, desde que saco la cámara de la funda hasta que termino de editarla.
Tengo una Nikon D300s, no es full frame, por lo que es difícil conseguir un buen desenfoque de fondo, incluso utilizando el 50 mm 1.4. El primer paso es crear una panorámica gigante con unas 12 fotos del fondo que voy a utilizar.
Many people ask me every day how I do photomontages, so I’ve created a small tutorial to show you my workflow, since I remove my camera from the case until I finish editing it.
I have a Nikon D300s, not a full frame, making it difficult to get a good background blur, even when using the 50 mm 1.4. The first step is to create a giant panoramic background with about 12 photos.
Yo suelo hacer las fotos con la cámara montada en el trípode, pero no es estrictamente necesario. Hago aproximadamente unas 12 fotos, divididas en 3 filas.
Las imágenes que forman la primera fila y la tercera irán con un desenfoque notable, mientras que las fotos de la fila del medio (la segunda) estarán perfectamente enfocadas, ya que es ahí donde pondré el sujeto posteriormente.
I usually take the pictures with the camera mounted on a tripod, but it’s not strictly necessary. I make approximately 12 photos, divided into 3 rows.
The images are in the first row and the third will have a noticeable blur, while photos of the middle row (the second) will be perfectly focused, because that is where I will put the subject later.
Primero tengo que crear en Photoshop un nuevo documento, bastante grande, y ahí voy pegando una a una las fotos. Para que no se noten los bordes entre las imágenes, los borro con un pincel que tenga los bordes difuminados. Se pueden ver claramente las 3 líneas de las que os he hablado anteriormente.
First I have to create a new document in Photoshop, quite large, and there I go pasting one by one the photos. To not notice the edges between images, delete them with a brush with feathered edges.
You can clearly see the the 3 rows I’ve talked about before.
Con el trípode sobre la cámara y la ayuda de un disparador inalámbrico o el temporizador, me saqué fotos en diferentes posturas. Suelo hacer varias, ya que luego a la hora de montarlas, nunca sabes si van a quedar bien o mal, por lo que es mejor asegurar. Mi amiga Susana me ayudó con una de las fotografías.
With the camera on a tripod and using a wireless trigger or the timer, I took pictures in different postures. I usually do more, because when you mount them, you never know if they will be good or bad, so it is best to secure. My friend Susana helped me with one of the photographs.
El siguiente paso es fácil, elegir las dos fotografías que mejor encajen, copiar y pegar en el fondo.
The next step is easy, just choose 2 photographs, copy and paste on the background.
Por ultimo, los detalles. Unas cuantas fotos a hojas de otoño, de más cerca y de más lejos, creando profundidad con los desenfoques y los tamaños. Y para terminar, darle tu propio toque con un postprocesado, puedes utilizar la saturacion, el contraste, el equilibrio de color o simplemente con el Color Efex.
Finally, the details. A few pictures of autumn leaves, closer and farther, creating depth with blurs and sizes. And finally, give your own touch with a postprocessing, you can use the saturation, contrast, color balance or just with the Color Efex.
